• Conducting site visits prior to starting jobs, to ensure client requirements are achieved.
• Liaising with the Proposals Engineer for participation in the preparation process and submission of tenders.
• Performing the planning of construction jobs which includes the scheduling of human resource, equipment and construction material.
• Organizing the work force to accomplish work load in the time frame givenand assist in the dispatching of work crews for each 9on and off-shore) ensuring even distribution of skill and experience whilst meeting requirements of job.
• Supervision of site/ project personnel and ensuring best ultization of resources.
• Ensuring all jobs are conducted in accordance with HSEQ procedures. This includes the preparation of Task Based Risk Assessments and facilitating the discussion of valid HSEQ issues during Toolbox Talk Meetings and Site Safety Meetings.
• Ensure Tickets and Timesheets are accurately completed and updated as per the manpower allocated to jobs on a daily basis
• Liaise with clients to address and issues which may arise during the course of the job.
• Management of an effecting team including sub contractors providing leadership and motivation of said team
• Liaise with operations and project team to analyze and solve execution and technical issues.
• Accountability for the quality and accuracy of work executed ensuring documentation of relevant reports.
• Ensure Contractor(s) performance is in accordance with work schedule,specifications and all other requirements.
• Provide technical input for business development strategies, proposals, and tendering processes and marketing initiatives.
• Motivation of staff in order to identify improvement opportunities that add value to both the company and client.
• Act as client liaison to address any issues arising during the course of the job.
