  • Assisted in the preparation of Ministry participation at regional and international labour meetings, which involved preparation of speeches and briefs along with coordinating Executive travel arrangements in accordance with Government procedure.
  • Prepared all country reports, since 2016, with respect to Trinidad and Tobago's application of law and practice to ratified as well as unratified instruments.
  • Assisted in the revision of the Implementation Plan and of the Monitoring and Evaluation Framework of the draft National Labour Migration Policy for Trinidad and Tobago.
  • Served as the Technical Secretary for the International Labour Organisation (ILO) 144 Tripartite Consultative Committee of the Ministry which involved taking lead in administrative preparations for Committee meetings, compiling country reports to the ILO for review by the Committee, gathering research and preparation material prior to meetings as well as providing any and all technical support for the work of the Committee.
  • Served as the Technical Secretary for the ILO Centenary Committee, which included co-directing the organisation and execution of the activities proposed by the Committee, inclusive of, among other initiatives, the Ministry's hosting of national essay and poster competitions on the “Future of Work”, the administrative and technical organisation of a series of five workshops which took place in Trinidad and in Tobago as well as the revision and finalisation of an official history document on the ILO and its impact on Trinidad and Tobago.
  • Directed preparation and submission of regulatory Ministry reports, position papers or correspondence.
  • Monitored emerging trends regarding international labour affairs to determine potential impacts on the work of the Ministry.
