  • Development of Training Programme in Induction into the Security Industry, Customer Service and Supervisory Management for the the Security Industry .


  • Restructuring and Re-establishing of the Firearm Permit Unit- Subsequent to my Tenure at the Audio Visual Unit, I was transferred to the Firearm Section where I was tasked with upgrading and where necessary total transformation of the unit. The unit was rebranded and I established the Firearms Compliance Unit which was responsible for conducting sensitive investigations and background checks on F.U.L. applicants. I managed the computerization of the section and implemented the F.U.L. card and data- base.


  • Formation for Media Ambassadors Initiative in the TTPS - During my tenure at the Audio Visual Unit I performed duties alongside the Corporate Communications Unit where I developed a love for media and saw the need for the Police and the public to have better and more frequent interactions to bridge the gap. There I proposed the idea of the Media Ambassadors Initiative whereby officers from the second division would interact with the public through various media houses to capture different demographics. It currently exists today.


  • Restructuring the Audio Visual Unit .- Upon my assumption as the officer with administrative and operational responsibility for the Audio Visual Unit. I conducted a S.W.O.T. analysis of the unit and restructured its scope and functions to better reflect and portray the image of the TTPS. I created an operational arm of the unit which was able to work alongside various tactical and community oriented units where real time accomplishments of the TTPS was captured.


  • Formation of the Homicide Intelligence and Operational Unit - During my tenure at the Office of the Assistant Commissioner of Police Homicide I was tasked with managing and collating the statistical data of homicides and related crimes throughout the four regions. Based on my analysis I conceptualized and established the Homicide Intelligence Unit which was instrumental in increasing the detection and solve rate by managing cold cases, intelligence gathering and fugitive retrieval. It currently exists today.


  • Office of the Assistant Commissioner of Police Homicide- Conducted analysis on data and submitted findings from law enforcement operations and prepared reports to the executive of the TTPS and National Security.


  • Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police- Managed and coordinated operations at the Piarco International Airport relative to the arrival, departure and transportation of Commissioners of Police throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.


  • Lecture on Promotion Interviews for Second Division Officers - During my tenure at the Office of the Assistant Commissioner of Police Homicide I conducted lectures to second division officers on the requirements for promotion for the ranks of corporal and sergeant.


  • Homicide Bureau of Investigations- Successfully investigated several high profile murder enquiries and was instrumental in the arrest of numerous major criminal elements. Also participated in several overt and covert drug and organized crime anti-crime operations. Performed duties as the Personal Protection Specialist to various state witnesses in several high profile murder trials.


  • Promotion Advisory Board for First and Second Division Officers -Performed duties as Support Officer to Chairman of the Board and the executive staff.


  • Caribbean Association of Women Police - Performed strategic, logistical and administrative duties for the Caribbean Association of Women Police Conference 2007.


  • Logistics Officer for Cricket World Cup held in the West Indies - Provided logistical and strategic operational services for over 675 Law Enforcement Officers for the duration of activities at the Cricket World Cup Secretariat 2007 alongside the Gold Commander and Management Team.
