Establishes goals, sets standards and objectives for Collection Management Services in accordance with the vision, mission and strategic objectives of NALIS

Examines trade publications and information sources, makes recommendations for the acquisition of relevant titles, and prepares an annual list of orders of relevant material in all formats to be acquired for the collections
