Initially employed as Accounts Receivables Clerk, promoted to Acting Admin Supervisor in July 2021, and confirmed in that position November 2021.

  • Responsible for receipt and verification of external CSR sales and collections.
  • Entering and clearing (through MFFSL's software programme) relevant customer accounts based on these receivables.
  • Following up on errant customers, and ensuring that all customers remain within their terms and limits as per arrangement with MFFSL.
  • Extract and verify daily, weekly, and monthly reports as scheduled according to the nature of the report.
  • Learning and being trained in all areas of Accounts Payables as it relates to MFFSL.
  • After being trained in Accounts Payables, and assisting on a need to basis, was asked to temporarily hold on in this position whilst the Accounts Payables Clerk was on maternity leave. Handled this position for three months while also continuing some of my Accounts Receivables duties.
  • Trained in Inventory, which included stock control and maintaining items and prices in the software system.
  • Taking part in quarterly Physical stock check exercises, before being more permanently assigned to system stock entry for these exercises. (Due to Covid pandemic, stock was only done once per year in 2021 and 2022.)
  • Along with another employee, handled the company's Facebook page for roughly two years. Basically posted images and notifications multiple times per week.
  • As MFFSL started dealing with providing any and all necessities to vessels and rigs on the seas, I was also tasked with handling the Accounts Receivables for this. In addition to my other duties, I have been reconciling and sustaining even as this has become one of the biggest growing areas in MFFSL.
  • Exceeded goals through effective task prioritization and great work ethic.
  • Once promoted to supervisor, most of my Receivables duties were passed on to AR clerks. Along with the Admin Manager, I became responsible for an Admin staff of eight persons all with various interdepartmental duties. These duties included Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Credit Control, Inventory, and Receptionist.
  • Established workflow processes, monitored daily productivity and implemented modifications to improve overall performance of personnel.
  • Delivered performance reviews, recommending additional training or advancements.
  • Updated and generated reports for company Directors and Management on a daily, weekly, monthly basis, as well as upon request.
  • Along with Admin Manager, we ensured that existing employees were cross-trained to maximize team agility and performance.
  • Delegated tasks to administrative support staff to organize and improve office efficiency.
  • Management delegated to me the handling of all Foreign payments to all our overseas suppliers.
  • Effective communicating and maintaining of relationships with these foreign suppliers.
  • Any other duties as requested, which occurs more often than not.

I absolutely love reading, always have and still do. There is nothing more exhilarating that getting engrossed in a well written book and feeling as if everything that happens in a book affects you personally. Of getting so enamored, or not, of a character or multiple characters that their every emotion is felt by you as well. Reading, in my personal humble opinion, can make you feel ever emotion the way nothing else can. There are songs or movies that honestly can come close, but reading encapsulates feelings the way nothing else can.
