-Conducted strip down,inspection,qa and refurbishment of various generals valves and PSV's.

-Conducted pressure testing in accordance to API/AMSE standards on various valves types.

-Utilizes various hand tools and measuring device to carrying

out strip down, inspection and refurbishment of various valve types.

-Conducted preservation and packaging of various valves types in preparation to ship to client or book into stock.

-Conducted calibration of various control vales.

-Utilized safe manual/mechanical handling techniques to move equipment throughout workshop.

-Conducted the recertification of testing and torquing equipment to ensure it meets standards.

-Utilizing equipment manuals to aid in the refurbishment of valves and equipment.

-Conducted bolt torquing activities on various valves.

-Participating in various continual improvement activities surrounding safety and personal training.


  • Machine Shop

- Conducted basic machining activities on components such as valve end connections using various machines.

-Interpreted blueprint provided be engineer to manufacture simple components used to operate various valves.

-Utilized various measuring tool(verniers,height gauge,trammel ,micro meters ,gap gauges etc) to carry out machine activities.


  • Stores Department

- Carried out various administrative duties such as booking items into stock,checking for item in stock via computerized stock keeping application, doing audit on items in stocks to make sure it aligns with client requirements.

-Assisted in locating items in warehousing,doing relevant quality checks and moving it to the workshop or the ship to the client.


  • QA Department

-Carried out quality checks on various valves and equipment to ensure it adheres to international standards.

-Generate test certification for all valves that was refurbished in the workshop.

-Archiving various documents received with brand new valves and other equipment that was received.

-Update system with valve related information such as size, class manufacturer, to aid in having a digital record of said item.

-Taking photos of the as found condition of new and used equipment to ensure traceability in the event of future issues occurring.

-Issuing test pressure to various valves to be tested in the workshop area.
