This is a machineshop . Here my tasks are as follows, making sure all equipment and tooling is in good working order, making purchases for the shop, finding the most efficient way to execute jobs that come in the most mechanically correct way possible. Offer helpful solutions such as modifying parts and providing alternatives to parts that are hard to get, too costly or out of production. Quote ,plan and schedule preventative maintenance for customers out on the field along with providing special emergency break down services for equipment that is on the jobsite such as repairing hydraulic rams and line boring and replacing worn pins and bushings while minimizing downtime.

Making sure the fleet and equipment was in good working order .I dealt with multiple contractors and sourced new suppliers for the parts that were constantly needed, which involved negotiating prices and planning maintenance on the equipment due for repair while keeping the downtime as minimal as possible

In this plastic blow molding company i was given a variety of tasks which all had to do with the smooth operation of the production. I was required to do maintenance on the many compressors , operate forklifts to move heavy parts, i was also required to use my skills and knowledge to aid the other technicians with the in house machineshop tasks, read blueprints to assemble and disassemble equipment in the factory and aid in the general preventative maintenance role.

This was a pure machine shop company and i was tasked with just doing machine shop work as advised by the supervisors .
