RHONDA LISA AGUITON

Westmoorings

Summary

I have embodied a passion for teaching, mentoring, learning, and student success, with the greatest hope that teacher candidates will replicate it in their classrooms. Through education, I have guided teacher candidates to regard themselves as a critical resource and problem-solver to their peers, students, parents, colleagues, school administrators, and their communities to inspire a shared commitment to quality education. Over the years, I have chosen to learn from and rely upon Dewey’s educational philosophies and those of Vygotsky, Schön, and Marzano to shape my teaching philosophy and practice.
