I am hereby applying to your institution for the vacancy as a Medical Laboratory Technologist I am currently working as a Medical Laboratory Technician 1 at the Diagnostic Laboratory Services of Eric Williams Medical Science Complex, Trinidad and Tobago. I was employed at the Diagnostic Laboratory Services Department on July 10th 2013 to January 2019 as a Laboratory Assistant 1 followed by the acting post as MLT 1 from February 2019 to August 2019. In September 2019 I was confirmed as a MLT 1.
In the year 2014, I enrolled into the Bachelors of Science program of Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) at COSTAATT. On May 18th 2017, I completed the Associates level of the MLT program. In 2014, I also attained a registered certificate through the AMT Foundation as a registered Phlebotomist. In December 2018, I completed the BSc level of the Medical Laboratory Technician degree at COSTAATT.
In the near future, I do intend to pursue the Master’s program in Public Health and in the far future, I would like to achieve my goal in pursuing a degree in the Forensics field. I will consider it to be a privilege to offer my services as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at your institution whereby I can gain some hands-off experience.
