Enthusiastic and driven mechanical engineering student, eager to contribute to team success through hard work, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills; A fast learner and a great communicator who works well with others. I am motivated to learn, grow, and excel in the Engineering industry and guarantee that I will be an asset to any company or project to which I'm given the opportunity to contribute.

• Voted as class representative for the department of Mechanical engineering at the University of the West Indies; a position which I hold currently.
• Voted Public Relations Officer for the ASHRAE UWI Student Chapter (2023-present)
• Voted Public Relations Officer for the UWI IMeche Student Chapter (2021-2022)
• Won 1st place in the IMechE "Speak Out for Engineering" Pan-Caribbean competition heats and regional competitions and participated in the global final at IMechE HQ in London in September 2022.
• Designed and built a functional prototype for a Piezoelectric Raindrop Energy Harvesting device.
• Leader of a team of engineering students from the University of the West Indies that conceptualized and proposed a prototype for a remotely controlled soil sampling and ripeness assessment vehicle.
• Leader of another team of engineering students that constructed a functional solar cooking station.
• Collaborated with a team of high school students in the development and programming of a robotic device made of Legos that could do simple tasks. This allowed me to win the "Wright Stuff" award for my achievements in the 2017 STEM camp hosted by the Civil Aviation Authority of Trinidad and Tobago.
• Awardee of the national bursary award offered by the government of Trinidad and Tobago based on excellent academic and holistic performance.
• Represented Trinidad and Tobago at the 2014 US Open Martial Arts Tournament and won 2nd place worldwide in sparring.
• Selected as a school monitor in form 4, then a school prefect in form 6.
• Represented the PCC Football team at the Under-16 and Under-19 levels.
• Past member of the PCC Pan Ensemble, PCC Music Makers group, and co-host of the 2019 Annual PCC Christmas Concert.
• Represented Presentation College in numerous Chess Tournaments and won matches against formidable and well-known opponents. Placed 2nd overall in my first-ever tournament in 2015.
• Won 1st place in dramatization and public speaking competition at the Oratory Foundation in 2014
