I am a conscientious and motivated leader in the field of Digital Transformation and Business Intelligence. I am passionate about utilizing my Mathematical and Computational skills to find innovative and data driven solutions to the wide array of complex business challenges that organizations face. I graduated with a BSc (First Class Honours) degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from The University of the West Indies, St.Augustine and am currently completing my MSc in Data Science at the same institution. My current role is that of Business Intelligence Manger for Nestle Anglo Dutch Caribbean, a region that consists of markets in Trinidad, Jamaica and 21 other Caribbean territories.

Optimization of Cell Tower Distribution (MiniZinc) May 2020

• Developed mathematical models to represent a scenario in which the goal was to find the optimal number of cell towers to construct in order to most efficiently cover the widest area. Model was then implemented using MiniZinc.

Visual Analytics and Model Prediction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions (Python) May 2020

• Used pandas and scikit- learn libraries to visualize insights from the dataset as well as make predictions using various Machine Learning algorithms such as Decision Tree, GaussianNB and RandomForest.

Text Classification on Donald Trump Speech Dataset (Python) April 2020

• Cleaned and formatted dataset to then apply topic modelling algorithms like SVD, LMF and NDA to computationally identify the various topics that existed in a file containing Donald Trump's Speeches.

Time Series Analysis on Energy Dataset (Python) April 2020

• Using an Energy Consumption dataset, deployed time series analysis to forecast trends and patterns in the data using techniques such as exponential smoothing.

Visual Analytics of Employee Dataset (Python) Feb 2020

• Using an employee dataset, performed data cleaning and used python libraries such as matplotlib and seaborn to visualize data and make determinations about the data such as whether there is a relationship between an employee's mental health and their job, whether or not their company prioritizes mental health treatment and whether or not employees feel comfortable going to their superiors for mental health support.
