The role of the Technical Specialist (TS) supports Well Discipline Engineers by selecting the appropriate quality assurance requirements and providing oversight for the manufacture and test of permanently installed drilling and completion equipment and associated service tools.   • Perform material inspection on flange assembly parts – Studs, Nuts & Gaskets to ensure that they were of the correct specification as required by BG T&T for reassembly and tightening of the joint.
  • Ensure all flange faces / Gasket Seating is in acceptable condition before allowing joint assembly and tightening.
